I would like to say a huge, huge thank you for re-connecting me with my relations. There has been such a positive outcome from this, and I really couldn’t have done it without you! From the start there was so little information to go on, but you were able to piece together and cross reference those little pieces so quickly.

I would also like to thank you for making first contact for me. You offered a safe place for both parties to connect from, and you handled it with thoughtfulness, care and tact. This was invaluable. How can I begin, it is life changing, but in the best way possible. You also researched and found out much about my ancestors, and I became fascinated with each new discovery. I now know about relatives going back to the 1700’s, and that I have Welsh and Devonian roots which was a great but welcome surprise. More than anything I am in touch with my family again,

Thank you so very very much,  you have been wonderful. With love and great joy! ‘                     Helen Sandford –  UK – 2015

Dear Gail,
Here I am sat on the west coast of America, looking at photos of my birth mother and a brother and sister I never knew I had, in a treasure trove of letters, documents and family photographs sent by a delightful 80 year old uncle, all the way from Australia.

I have you to thank for this – I still can’t believe you found them!

This trail began in war-torn London, then abruptly dead-ended in Southampton, where all records of my family seemed to disappear. For over two years, you followed a tattered web of leads to Scotland, the US and South Africa; from Australia to New Zealand where I connected with my half-brother and learned from him about my birth mother.

You’ve exchanged 50 years of uncertainty with a connection to warm and loving family. You are unbelievably inventive and persistent. None of this would have been possible without your unfailing energy, expertise and enthusiasm.

Thank you so very much. Your grateful client and devoted friend.’
